Wolverine Blend vial: storage and handling SOP
Product-specific laboratory SOP for the sealed Wolverine Blend vial (lyophilized BPC-157 + TB-500). For generic dry-powder temperature and moisture notes see lyophilized peptide storage; for the fridge-versus-freezer question covering both powder and solution see do peptides need to be refrigerated?. These notes describe bench storage, not human or veterinary use.

Lyophilized (sealed) vial
| Short-term | Refrigerate at approximately 2–8 °C in the original sealed vial. |
|---|---|
| Long-term | Freeze at −20 °C or colder, protected from light. |
| Light | Store in the dark; peptides can degrade with prolonged light exposure. |
| Moisture | Keep the vial sealed; lyophilized peptide is hygroscopic once opened. |
After the seal is broken (reconstituted peptide, laboratory use)
Once a peptide reference material has been dissolved in a laboratory solvent, stability typically drops. General chemistry practice is:
- Prepare only the volume needed for the planned experiment.
- Aliquot into low-volume tubes to reduce freeze–thaw cycles.
- Freeze unused aliquots and label each with lot number and date.
- Store under refrigeration if the solution will be used within a short bench window.
This page intentionally does not list concentrations or volumes "for dosing". Wolverine Blend is a laboratory research material; it is not supplied for human or veterinary use.
Labware notes
- Use low-binding tubes where available to reduce peptide loss to plastic surfaces.
- Avoid repeated freeze–thaw of the same aliquot.
- Record batch accession and test date from the current certificate of analysis alongside experimental data.
Shipping
The Wolverine Blend vial ships from the supplier as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed glass vial. Lyophilized peptides are relatively stable at ambient temperature for the duration of a shipment, so a cold chain is not required in transit; move the vial to the designated storage condition on receipt (refrigerated 2–8 °C for short-term working stock, or frozen at −20 °C or colder for long-term storage). Current carrier and transit times are published by the supplier on the product listing.
