What is the Wolverine stack?
The “Wolverine stack”, also called the Wolverine peptide or Wolverine Blend, is a lyophilized research blend of two peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, supplied together in a single vial at BPC-157 10 mg + TB-500 10 mg per vial (20 mg total labeled content). It is a laboratory research material only. The name is an informal nickname; it is not a brand, a therapy or a clinical description.

One blend, three nicknames
The three nicknames all point at the same lyophilized vial. “Wolverine Blend” is the common product label, while “Wolverine stack” and “Wolverine peptide” are informal names used in community discussion. There is no official nomenclature attached to the nickname and no clinical body uses it. For the single-product explainer, see the Wolverine Blend overview.
What is in the stack
Two peptides share the vial. Public reference values below are drawn from standard chemistry databases (PubChem for BPC-157, UniProt for thymosin β-4). TB-500 is reported as a synthetic fragment of thymosin β-4 and its exact molecular mass depends on which residues the vendor includes; check the supplier record for the identifier used.
| Field | BPC-157 | TB-500 |
|---|---|---|
| Chemical class | Synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 residues) | Synthetic peptide fragment based on the actin-binding region of thymosin β-4 |
| Primary sequence | GEPPPGKPADDAGLV(Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) | Vendor-dependent (commonly Ac-LKKTETQ, residues 17–23 of thymosin β-4). See the TB-500 reference page. |
| Length | 15 amino acids | Fragment length depends on the vendor definition |
| Empirical formula | C₆₂H₉₈N₁₆O₂₂ | Depends on the fragment defined |
| Average molecular mass | ≈ 1419.5 g/mol | ≈ 889.0 g/mol for Ac-LKKTETQ (verify against the supplier COA) |
| Public identifier | CAS 137525-51-0; PubChem CID 108101 (as BPC 157). BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide; it has no UniProt entry of its own. | Parent protein thymosin β-4, UniProt P62328; gene TMSB4X |

How the stack is supplied
- Form. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, sealed glass vial under vacuum or inert gas.
- Vial size. One vial contains BPC-157 10 mg + TB-500 10 mg per vial (20 mg total labeled content) of the lyophilized BPC-157 + TB-500 blend. See the specifications page for the current per-vial composition published by the supplier.
- Bundles. The supplier offers multi-vial bundles. Available bundle sizes and current pricing are listed on the supplier product listing (see the supplier product listing); this site does not quote bundle counts.
- Documentation. A certificate of analysis (COA) is published per lot. See the batch documentation page.
Why the components share a vial (supply format only)
The two peptides are supplied together as a logistics choice: one COA, one shipping unit, one storage SOP. This is a supply-format statement, not a statement about biological effect. This page does not describe mechanisms of action, biological outcomes or suitable research questions; those are design decisions for the laboratory that purchases the material.
Storage and stability of the lyophilized blend
A sealed, lyophilized vial is relatively stable at low temperatures. Common lab practice is to refrigerate the sealed vial at ~2–8 °C short-term and freeze at −20 °C or colder for long-term storage, protected from light and moisture. Full guidance (temperature, desiccant, aliquoting, freeze–thaw) is on the storage and handling page.
How identity and purity are documented
A two-peptide vial is tested with the same analytical toolkit as a single-peptide vial: HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity. HPLC separates the sample into peaks (one per component, plus any impurities) and reports an area percentage. Mass spectrometry confirms that the observed masses match the expected masses for both BPC-157 and TB-500. See the purity testing methods explainer and the batch documentation page for how to read the published figures.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Wolverine stack?
The "Wolverine stack" is an informal nickname for a research-peptide blend that combines BPC-157 and TB-500 in a single lyophilized vial. It is a laboratory research material only. The nickname is not a brand or a therapy; it describes the two-peptide combination used in in vitro research work.
Is the Wolverine peptide the same as Wolverine Blend?
Yes. Wolverine Blend, Wolverine stack and Wolverine peptide are three informal names for the same lyophilized BPC-157 + TB-500 research blend. The nicknames came out of informal usage; the research material is the same material.
What peptides are in the Wolverine stack?
Two peptides share the vial: BPC-157 (a 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide, Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val; PubChem CID 108101) and TB-500 (a synthetic peptide based on the actin-binding region of thymosin β-4, UniProt P62328).
How much material is in one vial?
One vial carries the labeled content of BPC-157 10 mg + TB-500 10 mg per vial (20 mg total) as a lyophilized BPC-157 + TB-500 blend. The supplier page lists any multi-vial bundle options and current pricing; this site does not quote a per-component split beyond what is published on batch documentation.
How should the lyophilized Wolverine stack be stored?
Store the sealed vial in a dark, dry place at approximately 2–8 °C short-term, or at −20 °C or colder for long-term storage. Protect from light. Full laboratory storage and handling guidance is on the storage and handling page.
Is the Wolverine stack for human use?
No. The Wolverine stack is sold strictly as a laboratory research material. It is not a drug, dietary supplement or cosmetic, and it is not intended for human or veterinary use, or for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
